La dolarización fue el proceso mediante el cual el Ecuador adopto el dolar como moneda oficial para poder tener estabilidad economica, pues varias causas entre estas la inflación hacian imposible que los ciudadanos pudieran planear su futuro económico de la semana por el constante cambio de los precios. Esto tuvo consecuencias tanto positivas como negativas. The dollarization was the change of currency from the sucre to the dollar, this process occurred during the government of Jamil Mahuad bringing us as a country both positive and negative aspects.
